Schwarzenegger’s Life Lessons What can the cigar smoking - TopicsExpress

Schwarzenegger’s Life Lessons What can the cigar smoking fitness fanatic with the most revered physique in bodybuilding history teach you about success? Back to that in a minute. A Personal confession first.... I find inspiration from people I can relate to. People who aren’t afraid of stepping on anyone’s toes or afraid of saying the wrong things. People who’ve demonstrated they aren’t afraid to jump head first into something they believe in without fear of failing. Without being ridiculed. Without being shot down for giving their all. Usually they have the most inspiring stories to tell. With that in mind, pay close attention to Arnie’s life lessons to learn what it takes to succeed financially in today’s world. Here we go... *Ignore the Naysayers: No-one believed Arnold could become one of the greatest bodybuilders in the world – but he didn’t care. All he cared about was his own opinion. In life you will get many naysayers that will tell you, you can’t do something, just because they can’t or don’t have the guts to. Remember, the only opinion which matters is yours & Arnie is a great example of someone who accomplished the impossible. *Break the rules: Think outside the box. Think differently. Be creative and don’t copy the herd. Take a disruptive approach even if you’re not seeing one yet Did you know Arnold had to escape the army just to participate and practice his posing for the Junior Mr. Europe to get ready for & win the Mr. Olympia 7 times? Did you know in his first ever movie audition, they all told him he wouldn’t be a movie star because of his accent and no-one would pay to see an over-developed actor with a surname no-one could pronounce? And then he became one of the best known action movie star with one of the greatest movie quotes ever – “I’ll be back” So go on and break the rules my friend. *Don’t fear failing: Failure is feedback and goes hand in hand with success. Accept that you will get knocked down and fail a few times before you learn to improve, overcome and adapt. Think of it as a life test pushing you to the extreme to see how badly you want it. You shouldn’t let fear of failure paralyze you - but instead drive you. The more you fall, the greater you will succeed and the closer you will get to your goal. Remember don’t allow your limitations to hold you back and believe in yourself 100% *Have a sickening work ethic: In the bodybuilding world, it’s called ‘No Pain-No Gain’. There will be many people in the world who will have similar goals and aspirations as you, but may not be as talented... So while you horse around and don’t f.o.c.u.s. at the task that will bring you closer to your goal, regardless of how talented you are, hard work will always beat talent. Usually the hardest and smartest worker will be the ones that will always succeed in life. At the end of the day, it will be the one thing that will shape you as a person. Remember, the difference between success and failure is how hard you work *Give back: Always give back. A smile, words of encouragement, donating blood, giving a homeless man something to eat – whatever it is you can – even the smallest of things can make the biggest difference. So wherever you are on your life’s journey, and no matter what you achieve, always give something in return. And remember, success or failure – you have to be willing to go for it. 100% This is what I’ve learned from this amazing person.
