Scientific fact; compassion is contagious and by engaging in compassionate behaviors you subconsciously train yourself to be more compassionate instinctively. Kindness can be taught and learned by example. Kindness is contagious also, if you treat someone kindly they are more inclined to be kind to others through out their day. This is the theory behind our RAOK page... We hope to inspire compassion and influence others to be kind by example. Id like to welcome our new members,in the last 24 hours there have been many. We ask that you please take a moment to review the pinned post and read our guidelines for posting. The pinned post will also help you understand the group and how to navigate the page. We are not a non profit, no a particular church or a foundation. This group is made up of citizens of your communities we live in. Freely post RAOKs you witness, preformed or were preformed on you in hopes to influence and encourage others. We offer no services other then access to the files of resources we had made up for members benefit. We do have a donation room members are welcome to receive from or donate to. Many members have joined up to form a team of members that donate time to charitable non profit causes that arise from time to time. How do we choose where to help?? Mostly its when someone becomes passionate about a cause of circumstance and takes the lead in making a difference and will recruit one anothers help. Sometimes people will see a family in need and wonder why they didnt get our teams help but yet someone last week whos situation wasnt no where near as bad had a out poor of support?? Some times its dumb luck..... Volunteers are busy with their kids, spent all their extra money to help for the month... Arent on face book but are hanging with their familys. Nothing is promised from RAOK other then a cool page to find kind compassionate stories. We invite you to join our team of volunteers... If you would like to be added to our volunteer group pm me or message on here Ill add you to a group message ( like a chat room ) where we team up for events and volunteering. Place nice with one another, like others post encouraging there behavior and letting them we appreciate their post. Thank you all for joining what we like to refer to as our RAOK family!
