Scored another DVD haul today at Big Lots here in Simi. I managed to snag several two movie sets at a really good price. I got Rumble In The Bronx/ The Corruptor for $5 and Jackie Chans First Strike/ Mr. Nice Guy also for $5 and Above The Law/ Hard To Kill for $3. Only drawback to those is that they are all in fullscreen format, but at least I can watch them now as I did not own them before (I would definitely buy them again if the widescreen versions ever showed up anyway). I also got the complete series of Iron King for only $3. Never heard of it before, but it reminded me of Ultra Man from the cover (and the back liner notes of the DVD say it is from the same producers of that show, so I took a chance). I also got a 4 Film Favorites collection on martial arts movies too that had Militant Eagle, The Prodigal Boxer, Moonlight Sword and Jade Lion. and The Bloody Fists for $7 (old Kung Fu movies FTW!!) and Clint Eastwoods Unforgiven for $5. I did not have enough to get the last two, but thankfully my dad lent me the money to get them. That was very awesome of him. :) Once in a while I manage to find something I really want down there, and today was that day.
