Scotland Blackball Tour 2015/2016 For last few years i have lost interest in pool for many reasons, pool reasons mainly been that apart from our I.M and Scottish Event there is no tournaments to practice for no tournaments in my opinion that are really looked forward to. There are nationwide tours but for a lot of pool players are to expensive to play with Hotel/Travel costs leaving little value for players in my opinion. Steven Santa Allison and myself want to create a tour that people want play in, tournaments that are look forwarded to, good tables, good venues, well ran, value for money and more importantly an event everyone looks forward to. Before Steven and myself put in effort to make this tour a great success we need feedback from the pool players because the tour is for yous not for any financial gain of ours. Like anything its hard to get entry amount correct and format perfect for everyone but lot thought has gone into our proposal. Proposal Tour £35,000 GAURANTEED (min 12 tourneys pp) Pro Cup Balls every event 6 events plus a grand final 2 tournaments for each player per event Each player will receive two polo shirts must be worn. Premier Division (16 players) cost for tour £510 (£39 per tourney) Championship (64 players) cost for tour £410 (£34 per tourney) Main Event (80 players) Points ranking system will be in place. Promotion/Relegation will also happen after 6 events (2up 2down) Premiership - Fri night races to 9 (No1 after 6 events gets £250) Winner £600 R/Up £350 Semi £125 Championship - Sat races to 7 (No1 after 6 events gets £250) Winner £600 R/Up £300 Semi £125 1/4 £60 Last 16 £30 Main Event - Sunday races to 6 (16 premier players enter at k.o stage to give us last 32 k.o, OPEN DRAW the premier players wont be seeded). Winner £700 R/Up £350 Semi £200 1/4 £100 Last 16 £50 Grand Final - Races to 10, Final 13. Will be played in Hotel Sat/Sun staying will be optional. (Top Ranked 48 from championship plus premiership, OPEN DRAW) Winner £1500 R/Up £800 Semi £400 1/4 £200 Last 16 £100 Entries Total £34400 Pay Outs £35680 This leave Steven and myself a shortage which we hope to cover from sponsor(s). Any extra money we get will be put into the tour for staff/equipment etc. We will also require help from people to make this a success, these people will come on board if yous decide yous want the tour. (table person referee etc) WE WILL REQUIRE MONEY PD FULL BEFORE 1ST EVENT We want this to be an excellent event and we gauranteeing prize money so only first 80 players pd would be in the event as no reserves can come in for certain events if you cant make any event your opponent will have a bye.
