Scottish Independence...aye or nay? I say aye!! These politicians, theyre all terrible! All of them! So to all my Scottish friends...I urge you to take a shot on independence. We will still be friends and neighbours, and youll still give a warm welcome whenever I come to visit, and vice versa. There has been lots of hot air today...people worried about losing this and that...about letterheads changing address (but not jobs), about supermarkets charging more.... i even heard some idiot today in westminster saying that there is no legal reason for England & Wales to allow Scotland to keep the pound... (hardly a threat that it will be lost!)... But the biggest reason to vote for independence is to break away from high taxes, and a government that spends way too much money on defence budgets and jobseekers allowances. Of course, if you go independent and still have high taxes, a high welfare bill and spend billions on defence then maybe the case isnt so clean cut and we would be better together! But.. being Scottish, i think youll keep a firm hand on the purse strings, so thats unlikely! Happy Vote Day :)
