Scottish Labour want to hike income tax by 15p in the pound for those on the top rates. this means that doctors, small businesses, etc who are on £100,000 (approx) p.a. and may be paying 40 to 50p in the pound would face an increase of £15,000 per year. Its no wonder the BT parties do not want to talk policies in their political broadcasts because it clear they will force people to move over the border to avoid this. Just to be clear it is income tax and while it CAN be higher than the UK rate, it can NEVER be lower. Its economic vandalism and back door asset stripping. it will deny us all opportunity and employment. But dont listen to me, dont take my word for it, instead listen to the leader of scottish labour.
