Scrapbooking Essentials Sharing : Adhesive Part I I had received quiet some questions about the adhesives which is good for scrapbooking ~ So..... I am trying to share some information on those I am using ( Tapes will be in Part II) here with you guys ~ ***My No.1 Glue : UHU Wood Glue - This glue is cheap……strong…….dry fast & clear !!!! - Even this is a very good one, I can’t find this in HK. I found them in Thailand ~ - Approx. Price for a 75g is around HK$12 ~ **My No.2 Glue : Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive - Same as the UHU, this one also dry clear and quick~ - It bonds papers together quiet strong as well~ - Best feature of this glue is its fine tip application.......its very handy to use on some detail works~ - The price is a bit higher, 60ml at HK30~ - You can find this in any professional craft stores~ * My No.3 Glue : 3M Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive - OK......I dont think I need to talk much on this one as this is probably a star item in scrapbooking world....Hahahaha~ - The constancy of this glue is a bit thicker than others which is the reason why I like it much~ - However the applicator is not fine enough to do detail works, I suggest to use this for a bigger area ~ - Approx. Price for 59ml is HK$26 .... which is not too bad~ - You can find this from some big bookstores ~ ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The adhesive that I am using the most frequent for the embellishments, blings, lace, trims, fabrics , etc.......... is the B-600~ I am totally hands down on this and it wont disappoint me ever !!!!! Other than B-6000, I am also trying out the Aleens Jewel-It Embellishing Glue. No surprise on this so far ~ And Glossy Accents also works on gluing blings and stuffs. However I think its a bit expensive to use it as a glue !!!! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Ok....last but not the least, there are 2 good tools that I wanna share in this post too ~ 1. The Extra Fine Tip Glue Applicator : - I pair this with my UHU as well as my Scotch for some detail fuzzy cuts applications. OMG, the tip is so extra fine and it will not block easily as it comes in a metal applicator~ - I got it at Chung Nam at approx. HK60 ..... a bit pricy but it worth every single dime of it ~ 2. The Brayer Roller : - To make a perfect flat surface, I swear to this brayer ~ - If you are planning to get one of this, please get a good sturdy one~ - I found mine at Chung Nam again, approx. price is HK$200 OK.......finally I am done with this looooooong post (Sorry! Its really long) ~ I am trying my best to get the my information out here ~ Hope you find some useful & helpful information though ~ Gotta take a coffee break before getting back to the craft table~ Wishing you all have a wonderful day!!!
