Scratch the surface and youll find the nice guys... Last night we played at a wmc in Birmingham called Walmsley Wmc. It was a Rod Stewart tribute show performed by Bob Wyper and we were opening the event. Walmsley has been fully re decorated and looks more like a plush night club cabaret venue. The ticket price was £10.00 and they were queuing at the door to get in. The night had SOLD out weeks ago. The venue has embraced the meal culture with realalistic prices for sit down meals at excellent value. There was no sign of the dreaded bingo and all the staff were smartly dressed and very well mannered. After we opened the show with an 80s hour Bob Wyper took the stage to do his Rod Stewart tribute. For over two hours Bob had them eating out of his hands. Dancing cheering,whistling clapping it was trully a great atmosphere and superb night. Bob Wyper goes the extra mile by staging an event,promoting an event and delivering an event. Bob has an incredible ally his partner Maggie who works her socks off doing sound lighting and giving Bob the occasional spray of aftershave. Bob even tracked us down to our hotel at 2am in the morning to drop leads off wed left behind. Sometimes in clubland acts get false praise. Bob Wyper gets every praise thats going from me and Kirsty ..a genuine true GENTLEMAN..
