Screwing the fans of a product is a Winning Formula...NPR interview with co owner of Russian River....(From Brewing News) Last night I heard an interesting story on NPRs Marketplace program about scarcity marketing, which featured Russian River and specifically their Pliny the Elder. They interview Natalie Cilurzo, co-owner of Russian River, about the beer. The reporter also discusses research into how scarcity and price can effect peoples perceptions of a product psychologically and physiologically. Whale hunters, listen up!
