Scripture: Genesis 46-47:27 Observation: God told Jacob to go - TopicsExpress

Scripture: Genesis 46-47:27 Observation: God told Jacob to go to Egypt to move there and to pack up his family also. Once Jacob got to Egypt Joseph helped Jacob with land that was helpful with for their livestock. God told Jacob that he would not abandon him in Egypt. God may be sending him to a land that was foreign to him but he was not leaving him out there to fend for himself because God is our Immanuel which is GOD WITH US. Application: Just like Jacobs situation God would never abandon us when he calls us to move to a particular place, a ministry in a church, a different career choice, or just a battle. During this time, I have to realize that the battle isnt my battle it is the Lords battle and he would never leave me or abandon me because it is not His character because He is GOD WITH US. He is our ever present help in time of need. No matter what storms of life or difficulty we face God always remain faithful. Prayer: Lord, help me to see that you never leave me even in the midst of a difficult situation. Thank you Lord for always being with us and always being faithful.
