Scripture is more about the various harvests (first fruit, barley, - TopicsExpress

Scripture is more about the various harvests (first fruit, barley, wheat, tares, grapes, oil, first born) and not about marriage. Marriage is the analogy given so we can begin to understand how our Father feels about his people Israel fornicating with other mighty ones. This whole bride thing is so far wrested from Scripture it would be funny if it were not taken so seriously and in such a widespread manner. You want to see something "as a bride"? Look for the New Jerusalem and her adornments, her children, Israel. I personally feel it is very easy and very misleading to use analogy to set firm definitions by, especially when those definitions are not established by the witness of Moses. Queen bride of heaven? Verses please. (Please consider the surrounding context of the analogies of Jeremiah, Hosea and Revelation).
