Scrooge had ghosts show him his regrets and mistakes throughout his life. But unlike Scrooge, we don’t exactly need a ghost to remind us of our past - we do a good job of reminding ourselves of the regrets that seem to still affect us today. Some of us are owned by those regrets; for others its the uncertainty of the future and what it holds for us.
