SeSenior Men’s Squad 2015/16 NZL Senior Men’s Coach, Colin - TopicsExpress

SeSenior Men’s Squad 2015/16 NZL Senior Men’s Coach, Colin Redpath is calling for athletes to register an Expression of Interest in being available for selection in this squad/team. Expressions of interest are sought from athletes based both in New Zealand and offshore. It is proposed that a training camp be held in conjunction with the South Pacific Challenge being held in Auckland 6-11 April 2015. We are aware that many athletes will be attending this event with club teams and the training camp will work around those commitments. It is anticipated that the squad would have a training session or game each morning and players would either play for their club side or the NZL Invitation side in the SPC in the evening. Both camp activity and games at SPC will be used for selection purposes. Auckland based athletes are asked to indicate if they are able to billet athletes from out of Auckland. Athletes based off-shore and not available for the April camp are asked to include in your registration the times of year when you would be available for international events and representing New Zealand. For the next stage of the programme, we are currently in discussions with Australia re a training camp there with match/es around the World League in June or July. The Oceania Championships are being discussed by OZVA in early February and we will provide an update re any potential Oceania Championships in 2015/16 as soon as we have information to hand. Please complete the attached Expression of Interest form and scan and email to BOTH [email protected] and [email protected] by 6 February 2015.
