Seagraves Building, Windsor, Ontario – [2008 List] — LOST TO LANDFILL DUE TO PERMIT OFFICE OVERSIGHT Included on Windsor’s heritage inventory list, this 2-storey 1905 industrial red brick heritage building housed the Seagrave Fire Apparatus Company of Ohio that produced the first motorized fire engine in Canada. The City improperly issued a demolition permit without adhering to the required 60-day waiting period.
