Seahawks Prayer ****************** Now you will receive us. We do not ask for your poor or your unskilled. We do not want your tired and injured. It is your will to compete we claim. It is your quarterback that will be sought by us. With every breath, we shall hunt him down. Each day we will spill his sweat across the gridiron til it rains down from the skies. Do not hold back, do not overlook, and do not underestimate, these are principles which every player of every team can embrace. These are not polite suggestions — these are codes of behavior. And those teams that ignore them will pay the dearest cost. There are varying degrees of defense, we urge you lesser forms of offense not to push the bounds and cross over into the Clink, into our domain. But if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see the 12th man and on that day you will reap it. And we will send you to which ever hospital you wish. And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Seattle for thee, power hath descended forth from thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry us to the promise land.
