Sealaska Meeting at Tacoma Wa. Management of Sealaska discussed what is on all Shareholders minds. How did they loose so much of the Corporations $$$$$$s? They did grudgingly take responsibility for the loss of $26 million? Apparently this was for underbidding on construction contracts in Hawaii. From what I gathered from reading about this there was a question whose responsibility the drainage bed prep. belonged to, the Contractor or Sealaska Sub Contractor? Sealaska went ahead & performed the work at a huge loss? My question is that we have two Lawyers running Sealaska so why did they not have boiler plate in the contracts to deal with these issues? Myrna Gardner was the only Independent Candidate to attend the Sealaska Meetings at Tulalip & Tacoma & she gave a good talk holding management accountable for as much as $70 million last year & up to $100 million over a couple years! She gave her talk with respect all the while getting her points addressed! She made her rounds visiting with Shareholders & seemed well received.
