Seasoned, knowledgeable and detail oriented FULL TIME HOUSE MANAGER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT needed for a busy couple in PALOS VERDES ESTATES. Job is Monday-Friday & approximately 40 hours per week. Pay: $20-25per hour. Duties include: Grocery and supply maintenance to set inventory and weekly needs and run all errands Maintaining household, including preparation for guests (assuring readiness for guests, arranging appliance maintenance, etc.) Event coordination (catering services plus) for dinner party and other events Calendar management, reservation and appointment booking With oversight of owner, drive both large contractor interactions (bathroom remodels, HVAC rework, etc) and regular small handyman jobs Project management (household projects, organizational projects, landscaping projects, craft projects related to our interests) Bill pay; household record keeping; clerical scanning/printing/filing Home shopping for needed items, accessories as well as gift selection and personal shopping; Managing courtesy communications (thank you’s and cards) Home & office organization Arranging intermittent services for the family (chefs for select dinners, staff for cleanup at specific times) Responsible for automobile care and maintenance (driving to or arranging cleaning, maintenance, service) Travel research, coordination & booking Be homeowner liason to housekeeping in guiding housekeepers and gardeners to achieve expectations and desired results as well as to utility and other service companies Ability to do light food prep would be desired, not required Please email rebekah@bcdstaffing if you have experience as a household manager or personal assistant.
