I feel like this is their true voice. Their studio stuff is random hipster island pop you would hear at a Topman or at a Forever 21. Enticing chorus, and youre immediately stankface-ing into the verses. Interesting chord progression paired with simple hooks. Im not really into the build, but it makes it even better when it goes back to the original 1-3 beat pattern. I have read somewhere that sometimes a build like that is only meant serve that sole function of making the comeback feel harder. Maybe Im just too idealistic, but I want every second to be great.
