Second International Symposium on Emerging Technologies in IT Concluded at Bara Gali Second symposium on emerging technologies in Information Technology concluded at Bara Gali summer campus. The moot was organized by Department of Computer Science in collaboration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT board and Higher Education Commission. The symposium aimed on the cutting-edge technologies in the areas of information systems, Bio-informatics, Software Engineering, Natural Language Technology, Big data, Networking, Wireless Technologies, Embedded Systems, Games Technology and their applications in the industry. Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rasul Jan was chief guest of the inaugural ceremony. Addressing the participants he termed IT as an integral to streamline business processes and get constant information in real time. He added that information technology has penetrated in every aspect of life and urged the need to equip students with latest developments in the same for producing graduates with current The symposium will benefit the computer science faculty, students and IT companies to enrich their skills and knowledge in the field of IT, said Chairman Department of Computer Science Dr. Saeed Mehfooz. He added The symposium would provide IT professionals with a chance to meet and share their valuable expertise among the participants. Prof. Dr. Naseer Ali Khan Vice Chancellor Haripur University was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. The participants of the symposium included re-known researchers and professionals from universities and companies of Pakistan and China, to share their valuable ideas, knowledge and expertise among the Symposium attendees.
