Second day in Cornwall brilliant sunshine (shorts day). Started the day with a nice run along the water in Hayle. We had a driving day. Drove to some small villages and did two substantial walks (found a stone circle and a quoit - part of a Neolithic tomb). Lots of wild flowers still showing their wonderful colours particularly on the mores. Our first walk started at the very small village of Zennor and involved spectacular cliff and sea views. The second was in a more to a high point with great views. We finished the sight seeing in Penzance (forced by PB into a pub). Getting out of Penzance was a challenge because of bumper to bumper traffic (imagine the traffic in summer). A great day. Now for a glass of wine and a curry.
