Second kickboxing class... I wasnt fully recovered from Mondays class (inner thighs were still crampy) but I still threw everything I had into those punches and kicks. This felt like a more intense session than the first one. About halfway through, I was at the point where I literally couldnt move my arms or legs. Id take a knee or hug up on the bag until I got my strength back, and powered through the last few sets, only to lose it all again. I made it through the class, but I probably only did about 3/5 of each routine. My legs literally gave out on my landings during three of the jump routines, and one of the times I thought I had injured myself coming down (I was fine, but I came down hard - almost fell against the mirrored wall). Im still not sure if its better to keep powering through, or if I should hold back and just get through the routine (i.e., go through the motions without any power behind it)? Im enjoying the sessions and when I can actually handle it, Im absolutely killing the bag. Looking forward to the next session! On the other hand, Michelle Lawton Rini is doing awesome and looking like an all-star :D
