Second match up of the Final Four: Aldabra tortoise versus waxy monkey frog! LIKE the photo of the animal you want to win by clicking on the photo and then on LIKE! You have until 6PM tomorrow to cast your vote. Remember, its not who would win in a fight but rather which animal is your favorite or is more interesting! Theres more than one way to get around! Waxy monkey frogs are adapted for life in the trees. Most tree frogs have sticky toe pads that help them adhere to surfaces like leaves and branches. In the photo, you can see that waxy monkey frogs dont have sticky toes pads, but instead grasp the branches with their toes! Their feet almost act like primate hands, complete with an opposable thumb. Aldabra tortoises spend their lives firmly on the ground (no tree climbing for them!). Males can get over 500 pounds, so they need powerful legs to support all of that weight. They can even run...very slowly. Their club-like feet allow them to walk through loose soil or wet mud without sinking in and getting stuck. Large toenails give them traction in any weather condition. Remember to share this with your family and friends! Tomorrow will be the final battle! The Komodo dragon versus the winner of this match up!
