Second reason to support BSL Bill Equality of Access The Guardian and Zurich Municipal schools 2013 competition (The School we’d Like..) Dingwall Academy wins the Scottish heats. Comment from judges, ‘powerful, impressive delivery of presentation. I have never seen 3 pupils (1 deaf, 2 hearing) working together switching between spoken English and BSL effortless: truly impressive ’. The girls presented their 10 minute presentation in speech with BSL translation and then in BSL with voice over. Later, they met one See Hear presenter: Tessa Padden and some local members of NDCS. A phenomenal trip!
