Secondary School Transition Meeting - Tuesday, February 11 - 6:30pm You are warmly invited to attend an information evening regarding the HWDSB secondary school transitioning to the proposed New North school, Tuesday, February 11 – 6:30pm to 8:30pm at Parkview Secondary School, 60 Balsam Avenue (directly across the street from the east side of the new stadium). Trustee Tim Simmons and Director of Education Dr. John Malloy will be presenting information about the transitions as well as the inclusion model the school board is working toward. This evening will include a question and answer session and will be of particular interest to parents and guardians of students presently at Parkview, Delta, and Sir John. A. MacDonald schools. We will use the same approach we use with the Sherman Hub All-Candidates meetings: Questions will be received in writing and asked by the moderator. We will have people on hand to assist anyone who is not comfortable composing their own question. Childcare provided by RSVP at least two days in advance as there is a very set number of children per childcare worker. Please indicate the number of children and ages. Your reservation will be confirmed. Spaces for childcare are limited. This event is sponsored by the Sherman Hub Community Planning Team in collaboration with the Gibson Lansdale Community Planning Team. All interested persons are welcome to attend.
