Secret #856 [Year 1] I have concluded after a term here that I cant get along with people not because Imperial is shit, or any other extraneous factors. I cant get along with people because Im a pretentious douchebag. The total net worth of what Im wearing is easily £2000 on an average day, I have one of those hipster haircuts, when talking about music I either have to shut up, go on tirades about jazz fusion or Messiaen or constantly utter the phrase you probably dont know them. I unironically enjoy postmodern art and visit galleries, read stuff like Edward Said and Sartre in my free time for fun, have an internal superiority complex which Im aware of but also secretly desire to nurture, because it seems its not a defense mechanism but rather the plain and obvious truth. I feel like all these make me come across like an insufferable douchebag, and to a certain extent I am, but I embrace them regardless because Id rather be solitary yet erudite than a well-liked plebeian.
