Secret Santa - the info Due to popular demand, Secret Santa will be running this year, culminating in the grand exchange during the EIP Christmas gathering on Tuesday 16 December. All members of the group will be included, unless individuals choose to opt out. The concept is simple, but nonetheless can be challenging. Susie has indicated that she knows of a name generator, so that all names can be chosen at random. Each Secret Santee will be given the name of another member of the group and should purchase a gift in the region of £5, which should be wrapped and labelled, whilst retaining the donors identity. The aim is to have names ready for distribution next week. The rules of Secret Santa: 1) Dont talk about Secret Santa. 2) Perishable gifts should be within their best before date. 3) Second hand and used gifts will be regarded with a degree of distaste. 4) Simply wrapping up a £5 note or itunes/similar voucher will be considered bad form. 5) Gifts will be placed into a ‘special sack’ that will be brought in for the purpose, on 16 December. Please note that a helpline will be made available for anyone suffering from undue stress arising from this process. Alternatively, there will be self help groups, using basic Mindfulness techniques, to ease the symptoms of PTSSD. ACT will be offered as soon as anyone has figured out what it actually is. Medication will only be offered as a last resort, but ECT should be readily available for anyone happy to take part in an experimental effort in the Common Room. Please enjoy yourselves.
