Section of Family Therapy Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London Course Tutor (Holding Highly Specialist Family Therapist Contract) (7 academic teaching sessions + 3 clinical sessions) Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Institute of Psychiatry (with clinical sessions in Lambeth CAMHS, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust) Grade: Clinical Psychologist/Family Therapist (equivalent G7, £38,522 – £45,941 plus £2,323 London Weighting) A full time post as Course Tutor within the Section of Family Therapy has become available following restructuring. The post comprises 7 academic sessions, teaching across the courses offered by the Section of Family Therapy. These include the Graduate Certificate and MSc in Family Therapy. The 3 additional clinical sessions are in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Lambeth, part of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). The post holder will have an honorary Highly Specialist Family Therapist Contract with SLaM, be responsible for providing a clinical service and required to supervise a clinic with trainees on the MSc in Family Therapy. Candidates must have an MSc (or equivalent) in Family Therapy, UKCP Registration as a Systemic Psychotherapist, an AFT accredited training in supervision or equivalent and at least 3 years experience of working clinically as a family therapist. This is a permanent contract, working within the well-established Section of Family Therapy in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
