Seeing bird eating bird, hearing distress of other bird, I am reminded that everything that is born will die. Have been contemplating what to do with Rory. I dont think i can handle multiple years of his digestive distress, and cannot afford surgery. One last surgery assistance center to call tomorrow. I quit hunting and fishing years ago, and while i do kill ants and other insects intentionally sometimes, i prefer not to. Not easy to contemplate but the thought keeps arising. He and I chatted about it last night, or at least he sat in my lap purring while i loved on him and thought about rebirth and the essentially loving, compassionate nature of the universe and tried to be reassuring about now and then.
