Seeing from a different perspective. (watch in High Definition and full screen if you can) The first time humans saw the earth as a little blue ball, hanging in space, we were forever changed. Viewing the earth from the International Space Station allows us to see that the atmosphere is much thinner than we think. From the comfort of our back yard, looking up, it seems to go on forever. Looking at it from the space station shows something completely different.
