Seeking God for joy in extravagant worship. And on that day they offered great sacrifices, rejoicing because God had given them great joy. The women and children also rejoiced. The sound of rejoicing in Jerusalem could be heard far away. ~Nehemiah 12:43 At special times in the past You gave Your people an experience of great joy. And they responded by offering back to You extravagant gifts of worship. Let the mutual giving continue. Grant to us an abundance of joy! May this joy overflow in lavish celebrations of worship in Your Spirit and the word of truth. Fix our attention upon Your Son and what He has done,so that the festival of worship is marked with holy dignity. Pray for zealous worship, expressing full hearts with full-volume joy and for God to be openly praised in the public square of our culture.
