Seems as if homoeopathy and acupuncture are interesting trigger words... plus its been one of those weeks when the subject seems to come up everywhere I turn. This post came about after a conversation with a new sort-of neighbour (on the basis that anyone within 20 miles is a neighbour around here) who is a homoeopath and is writing a book on homoeopathy in the treatment of autism. Having just read Horse Boy and realised (late) quite how much this can tear families apart, and how hard it is to find any kind of resolution, I was both impressed and despondent.
