Seems there is a die-in scheduled for the Skibo Rd. Walmart area this weekend. [Ive also seen it is a Unity March.] Ive seen where some colleges and other protest pockets are doing die-ins. Can someone tell me why they are called die-ins besides the fact that basic words dont mean to them the same thing they mean to most people? Why such an overblown title for the march thing? I am expecting that dying is not the ultimate goal of these shindigs, but Im also sure that I am not really understanding most of what they are doing, so who knows? In the immortal words of John Cougar Mellencamp, dying to me dont sound like all that much fun to do at the Skibo Rd. Walmart at a Die-In/Unity March.
