Seems theres a precedent for my heresy -- Im not the only guy who prefers to commit street photography with a long lens. Saul Leiter would occasionally wander around with a 150mm. (Real long even by my standards.) I think its a moral issue as much as anything else: yes, youre spying on people no matter what kind of lens you carry, but with a 35mm youre at least giving your victim the opportunity to break your nose.
