Selected INSCRIBE Writers member Monika-Akila Richards, based in Hove, was the lucky writer from the South East to be selected to go to Saint Lucia, as part of the Fringe St Lucia reciprocal exchange festival in the first week of May. Founder of the festival, Nigel Ryan FRSA said that from what he had seen and heard of Akilas poetry and her performance, that he was sure that the Saint Lucian audience would love her - and they did!
