And social media has given us all a taste. Its that first freebie your dealer gives you, just to get you hooked. Its a gateway drug to feelings of correlative self worth. It teaches us & our children that their value is directly connected to the number of likes, friends & views they have. It teaches them to only love the face they see in the mirror when someone else says they love it too. This video is brilliant & I highly recommend listening to the end and sharing with your older children (there is some language unsuitable for younger kids) and encourage them to love them self first and foremost every day. To remember this mantra: I love myself. If you stop loving me, it doesnt mean I am going to love myself any less. I believe in myself. If you stop believing in me, it doesnt mean Im going to believe in myself any less. This is the cure people. Take the pill.
