Selling a car for a friend. 1997 accord SE auto (the most features and most powerful motor, somewhat rare VTEC model), $1350, 184k, good tags (and will pass DEQ next time), clean title, no accidents at all (hood replaced when a trucks trailer hitch backed into the hood, and plenty of bumper scratches from being used downtown), 2 owner (mother and daughter) since new, needs window regulator on drivers door (stays up if you coax it in place but goes off track when used), sunroof seal (taped up), and motor mounts (the liquid filled mounts are worn and its obvious at idle), tranny shifts pefectly I did most of the work for her. New distributor, valve gasket cover, timing belt and water pump within last 10k, new plugs and wires, motor does not smoke or have any cooling issues, zero oil consumption between changes, runs strong (really surprisingly quick), new rear o2 sensor. She didnt want to fix the issues, but if you wanted to spend the $200 in parts you could turn it around to a Honda fan for a grand more easily She bought a new car and doesnt need two I did a compression test 2 years ago and it was within 5psi on all cylinders, willing to do one again if you like This is a cheap car that you can trust, its never broken down, and with a little love (honestly I would do the motor mounts and window regulator) a great beater/daily/kids car
