Sen. Jinggoy Estrada appealed that he is willing to go to jail without a hitch--just spare the aging Enrile. Mr. Senator, I understand fully where youre coming from. The sympathy is understandable. What good would it do the country to put a 90-year-old man in jail? I cant say, however, that the feeling is mutual. What about Filipinos who suffered all because officials stole from public coffers? P10 billion could have been used to treat ailments or give children the needed funds for learning. What about those who died all because officials were just too greedy to fund government hospitals? Do you even realize what P10 billion could do to help survivors of Yolanda? Why are you worried about Enrile when your constituents are suffering more than what your pea for brains could understand? Are you being paid to get him out of jail? Do you owe the old man favors, big enough to risk jail term for yourself? Does he know your secrets, Mr. Senator? Afraid that they will be exposed if you fail in your attempt to get him out of jail? The more you open your mouth, the more it is clear that you, Mr. Jinggoy Estrada, is not fit to be a leader, let alone a senator. I wish you luck in what you will soon be facing. I wish to God youre not guilty, but if you are, I have money reserved for popcorn and cola. Unless of course special treatment awaits you in jail. Remember, we will be watching...
