Minh said he was pleased at the progress made in the relations between the two countries in trade, education, science and technology, particularly since the two countries established a comprehensive partnership in 2013. He proposed the US Senator and the US Parliament support and promote the exchange of delegations as well as trade, commerce and investment relations. Corker said he wished Viet Nam, the US and other countries would soon complete negotiations for the signing of a Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, which was “an opportunity for countries to open their markets”.
