Senior Emily Bohrer was presented the Presidents Award for her contributions to the Junior Guild of Family Services. Emily has been very active in the Guild this year: she was on the executive board, was secretary to the Senior Guild’s newsletter, active in fundraising and a model in the Big Hair Ball, which was a joint effort between the Junior and Senior Guild that raised over $70,000 for Family Services, a non-profit serving families in the Triad, providing a women’s shelter, counseling, child abuse intervention, head start and financial counseling.
