Senior Operations and Corporate Banker Support our fast-growing business in Iraq with the objective of growing the business and increasing market share both in terms of number of customers and revenues from public sector clients as well as from multinational corporate clients. The role provides the opportunity for a candidate who already has significant commercial banking experience to develop and implement all aspects of strategy and customer delivery within the respective business. The role holder will have exposure to Senior Executives both regionally and globally and deal with complex and highly matrixed EMEA-wide management issue •Analyze business opportunities and assess options to develop Long-term and short term business development strategy •Drive the country strategy in respect of customers’ acquisition and activation as well as the department (staffing and organization). •Ensure that appropriate controls and procedures are in place. •Manage and coach product sales team of differing strengths, experience and abilities. •Develop a broad understanding of the Iraq market and gather competitor intelligence. •Manage marketing and sales teams to build a multi-product business. •Participate in the development of appropriate products for the business. Experience: Minimum of five years global banking experience, working across multiple products/geographies. Detailed understanding of Cash, FX and Credit products and services. Proven analytical ability. Management experience. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience.
