Senior Programming Project Manager #627 Our client, a health care software development firm specializing in the nursing home sector, is seeking an experienced, driven, and highly talented senior project manager with a record of delivering complex software solutions to large organizations. The senior project manager is expected to have hands on coding and management experience with software implementation in validated environments. Must have general knowledge of web based applications. Must be a highly motivated professional with a strong focus on client satisfaction. It is necessary to be an excellent team player, able to interact with internal staff, clients, integrators and partners, as necessary, to complete all assignments. Major Accountabilities: Direct and manage project delivery from beginning to end, including: Project Startup/Initiation, Analysis, Design, Configuration/Development, Validation/Testing, Go Live, and Project Close-out. Facilitate project kickoff meetings, weekly status meetings, and participate in workshops. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with client management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project schedules, project charters, and other project management documentation, as required. Review project deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Directly responsible for project staffing with company resources and indirectly for client resources. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change. Effective communication of project objectives to the team members and other stakeholders. When required, negotiate with other departments for more labor acquisition. Overseeing migration to web-based application from legacy programs. Review requests for system modifications and additions and develop specifications for the programmers. Design and develop new systems from scratch. Leadership qualities and vision. Efficient team and time management skills. Computer, technical knowledge and professional expertise in related field.
