As a Senior Developer, you will support the Development Manager by mentoring a team of dedicated developers who use the latest technology to build scalable, accessible products that work on any device and deliver a fantastic consumer experience. You will contribute to designing sprints to deliver a roadmap of strategic enhancements, whilst maintaining an ‘always on’ program ensuring that any defects are triaged nimbly. Located in Glasgow city centre – opposite central station, you’ll have the opportunity to work in an exciting and collaborative environment that encourages innovation and contribution from everyone. Skills & Experience required: 1. Highly proficient in writing good quality object-oriented code 2. Highly proficient with HTML, AJAX, XHTML, HTTP and XML 3. VB.Net / ASP 4. Experience in C# and/or C++ 5. Microsoft SQL experience Desirable: 1. Demonstrable competence in one or more mainstream development frameworks and design patterns for example MVC 3/4 2. ORMs (Entity Framework/nHibernate) 3. Experience with XSLT, HTML 5 and JQuery 4. Software Design Patterns 5.
