Sensory Overload I was wondering if you would post this for the PIES? We have a 7 year old boy who is AS/ASD. He has good days, and he has days that are challenging. Sometimes when we’re out in public, like the museum, art gallery or aquarium, we have sensory overloads. Sometimes we are overcome by fear of a certain exhibit. This usually involves panic and a lot of hugs and talking him back and people giving us funny looks. Anyway, here and there I see mention of information cards to give to people explaining things. I was wondering if anyone actually uses them, in what context, and if they have helped their situation? Thank you!
