Sent home without chemo today. Have a slight temp, and the Dr did every test under sun for checking for infections. Blood cultures, nose swab, labs, and will call in script for me over weekend if anything shows. Honestly didnt feel too bad, not like I have before when I was really sick. So I hope nothing is found and he was just being extra careful. Go to the Dr with the flu, they send you home and tell you to wait it out. Go with some chills and just feeling blah with chemo they run every test under the sun! Would have done x-rays too, but said my lungs sounded clear. No cough, no sniffles, I just feel blecky. So being tested and awaiting results, and off chemo still until the 14th now. But got to spend some time with my baby before she leaves for school again. Miss her not being on the college schedule but on the hospital schedule due to her major this year. But only 7 more months and Ill have her home all the time!
