Sent on behalf of the Swindon Equality Coalition Chair – Steve Henderson Understanding how benefit changes are affecting people in Swindon Swindon Equality Coalition is interested in learning from individuals in the local Swindon area, how the recent changes to all the Welfare/Housing/Employment benefits are actually impacting on individuals & their families’ lives. Have you examples of loss of monies, having to be re-assessed, being refused help, having to contemplate moving etc. No example is too insignificant & we are particularly keen to hear from people who usually struggle to have their voices heard. We would therefore be grateful if you could publicise this request for information as widely as possible to all your contacts. All correspondence will be treated in the utmost confidence and we may get back to you for some clarification. The evidence gathered will be collated and used to illustrate the impact of the Benefit changes here locally.
