Sent the following to Cancer Research UK via their website feedback facility. To whom it may concern: I would like to know who actually does the research into cancer for this charity & where it is carried out. For instance, does it use any private companys premises/laboratories or researchers? If the researchers are volunteers, do they also work in any privately funded research? OR, are they employed & paid solely by the charity. Do the charity s researchers include research into what is currently considered alternative, natural or complimentary therapies, in their work? Please direct me to any full detailed research papers published by the charity or to any research details. Perhaps you would also be so kind as to explain what exactly cancer is plus its preferred environment: for instance, alkaline or acidic, aerobic or anaerobic? Please also advise me of any animals, other than humans, involved in your research & the part they play. I thank you in anticipation of your help & response. Best regards, Margaret Gardiner.
