Sent this letter to Deutsche Bahn after discovering the new train - TopicsExpress

Sent this letter to Deutsche Bahn after discovering the new train station has no back entrance--the whole back side has these [cheap looking] wooden fences. Theyve blocked off two old street crossings and left two bridges that are very narrow and have no bike lanes or sidewalks. There is no safe crossing for about 10 kilometers. Dear DB Folks, I have a question about the new station Petersaurach Nord. When you built this, you closed the street crossings into Petersaurach leaving only a skinny bridge with no pedestrian or cycling access. You currently leave no safe way to cross the tracks between Heilsbronn and Wicklesgreuth. One is either forced to be run down by cars, try to scale 12 wide stairs with no banisters, or dash across the tracks between trains. I presumed you did this because you were planning to provide access via the subway under the tracks at the station. However, youve completely closed off the access to your train station subway, preventing easy access for cyclists and pedestrians again! Why dont you leave open an access to your station for those of us trying to enter/leave on the B14 side of the station? Lets see if they reply positively. It would be simple to remove a section of the existing fence to allow easy access.
