September 11th is a day that unites us. As I remember those whose wounds remain raw from the tragic events, I take comfort knowing that I am one of many in this great big world of ours that is pressing in to our faith and continue to believe that God is good and his plans bring hope. Sometimes it is a struggle to believe. At times like this, I find that reminding myself of simple truths is important. Jesus Loves Me, a song learned as a preschooler, helps me stand firm in truth.Remembering truths taught in Beth Moores, Believing God study many years ago and recalling the women who shared that experience together helps strengthen me. We ended each session with these 5 things. Im thankful to have not forgotten. 1. I believe God is who He says He is. 2. I believe I am who God says I am. 3.I believe God can do what He says he can do. 4. I believe I can do what God says I can do. 5. I believe Gods word is alive and active in me. Im Believing God!... The song below is one that touches me deeply. I hope youll take 4 minutes, close your eyes and listen.
