September 12th: Sir Ian Holm! Born on this day in 1931, he is an actor best known for his work as Bilbo Baggins in the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. He has been awarded several awards and accolades in many years of acting including the Laurence Olivier Award for King Lear and an Academy Award for Chariots Of Fire.
