September 1st, Deed #3: Today was a challenging day for me...by the time I left the house in search for good deeds to do, it was already 3pm! I looked everywhere in my neighborhood but couldnt find anyone around me who I could help! Then I decided to go to the nearby nursing home and asked them to let me volunteer for an hour! Unfortunately the coordinator was gone for the day and I couldnt help there either!!! By then my panic level was getting high and the day was coming to an end...I couldnt understand what was happening, why I was not seeing what I needed to do! With my head down, feeling sad and really anxious to help....I went to the gas station to fill up my gas and then there I saw someone I could help! My face lit up with joy as if I had won a lottery!!! The guy who works at the gas station!!! I asked him when he was got there and when he was getting off...when he told me he had been there since morning and he wasnt getting off before 10pm...I rushed home, got chicken and rice and took it over to him! The look on his face was priceless!!! Thank you God for giving me this opportunity!!! :) lets see what happens tomorrow! :)
